Guided by a single ray of frozen light Lovisa dives into the deep snow and amazing tree skiing below.

The snow was fresh, the air cold and the sky blue. It was great to spend the day in St. Anton am Arlberg with friend and Salomon athlete Lovisa Rosengren. Shooting high above the town below we managed to capture this image, later published in Åka Skidor magazine.

I am incredibly happy to have my image published full spread in Åka Skidor magazine especially alongside legendary photographers Oskar Enander and Mattias Fredriksson! When the conditions are good, St. Anton am Arlberg is top of my list for shooting ski images. Known as the cradle of alpine skiing this area offers much variation from lower down tree skiing to big mountain freeride. During this day we remained inside the trees taking advantage of our secret little stash of powder. We shot a series of images showing the terrain as well as group skiing and portraiture – some of which can be seen below.
